Because of Title IX, a similar number of girls and boys and women and men play high school and college basketball, respectively. Yet in pickup basketball boys/men outnumber girls/women by 15 million. Why is this?
What is Title IX?
Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government.
